Use IndieSignal responsibly

IndieSignal is a directory for discovering and launching legitimate products. You must use the service lawfully, honestly, and in a way that respects the rights, privacy, and safety of others.

Prohibited conduct

You may not use IndieSignal to submit or promote content that is false, deceptive, fraudulent, defamatory, infringing, unlawful, hateful, exploitative, or otherwise harmful. You may not distribute malware, phishing, spam, or unauthorized advertising; impersonate another person or organization; collect personal data without authorization; or use the service to facilitate illegal activity.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data; probe or interfere with the service; bypass rate limits, security measures, editorial review, or payment controls; scrape the service in a manner that burdens or disrupts it; or use automated tools to create deceptive engagement.

Product claims and rights

You are responsible for ensuring that product descriptions, pricing, screenshots, testimonials, and claims are accurate, current, and adequately supported. You must have all rights, permissions, and licenses needed for the content and product you submit. Do not submit another party’s product or brand without authorization.

Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, suspend access, cancel pending services, or take other appropriate action when we reasonably believe this policy or our Terms has been violated. We may also cooperate with lawful requests from authorities where required.
